REVIEW: Esther 'As One'

The lyrics tell a story of two individuals, with the desired outcome for the two, to be ‘As One’. Even if you are not an individual enthused by romantic lyrics, the instrumental sections make it easy to lose yourself whilst listening and dancing to this single.

The memorable guitar melody, with electric synth elements, could place the track within the summer playlists created for the summer of 2016, but for those who connect to the topic of the story, this song could very well find itself standing the test of time and being played again and again throughout the year.

Jack Kinden’s unique vocal tone is one of the bands main strengths. However, all members seem to be harmoniously in-sync, with the track sounding like a relaxed jam but with the sound quality of a studio recording.

‘As one’ is set to be released on June 24th 2016, but the music video was pre-released and is available to watch on YouTube. Their EP 'Overthrone' will be released sometime in July of this year. If this single is anything to go by, the EP should be highly anticipated.
