LIVE REVIEW: "Scotty C's Last Show" Falling With Style w/ Press To Meco, From Her Eyes and Junior

Tonight in bunker marks a night for Falling With Style that may well stick with them forever as they play their final show with their guitarist/screaming vocalist Scott Carey. While this may seem menial to global readers, the band are local legends and have been a tight unit since their inception. In addition this will most likely mark a HUGE change in the bands sound. So let's have a look at what went down at their send-off show!

Opening the night are local punk-rockers Junior. Their light-hearted punk keeps a reasonably full crowd more than happy. With some solid hits that bode well with familiar faces they open the show fantastically.

Recently the band have got themselves a lot of attention through new music and some attention from publications like Kerrang, Rock Sound etc.

With some amazing shows behind them I'm sure that 2016 will bring great things for these dudes.

Next up to the stage is From Her Eyes. I have seen these guys play a good few times now and they never disappoint. Saying that, tonight the band bought their A-game. Crushing riffs pave the way for brutal vocals during every track. The band sound polished and tight as a whole.

The highlight of the bands performance is most definitely when they play their, heavy as f**k, track "Demons" with the assistance of Falling With Styles Lucas Woodland. The vocalists bounce off each other making for an overly invigorating experience for a crowd who are more than ready to mosh... and mosh HARD!

Press To Meco, yeah that's right Press To Meco, are in the main support slot for the night. Now many of you reading this will most likely know the band. The guys just played as support for Don Broco and released a cracker of an album that was met with a lot of enthusiasm.

Three-way harmonies are on point from the three piece and wittiness both between the band and to the fast growing crowd make for a fun show at the same time. Their collective frontmanship is engaging and controlling and they work the crowd perfectly.

2016 will likely be a very big year for the guys who are arguably on the cusp of blowing up globally.

Falling With Style hit the stage to a large crowd that are entirely in the palm of their hand from the introduction track of their set. Playing a massive 12 song set, which amounts to the majority of the bands back catalogue, they treat those who have made the effort to be involved in this special night.

The band essentially take their three EP's, spanning from 2012 to present, and play all of the locally influential songs that have shaped their time as a band so far. The crowd are with them every step of the way in what is more of a celebration of the band they have been.

The night was inspiring and passionate and it's a real shame to hear Falling With Style play what could very well be their last show, or at least play as the band that we know and love...

It will be a very interesting 2016 with some amazing up and coming bands on the horizon. In terms of Falling With Style let's hope they hit the new year brings us a newly refined band that bring us more amazing music.
