The Mountain Shadow: 'Maroc' Single

The Mountain Shadow was recently formed by Ian Norsworthy having taken hiatus with the band First Sign Of Light. In the wake of his new project he has managed to quickly pull together music that he will be showcasing at Crystal Clubs, Wembley on the 19th June.

The single is called 'Maroc' and not only is it an amazing song but The Mountain Shadow have taken the opportunity to use the single to help raise funds for Given To Live.

The single sounds as if Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park has mixed it. With beautiful vocal overlays and simple yet effective riffs that are accompanied by piano underlaying the track. The song builds to include distorted guitar riffs with drum rolls to expand the song into a closing minute of soundscape like structure.

Ian states that:

"The song is a statement that 'no matter what happens from here on out, the good and the bad, we'll deal with it' - and that is why I have chosen this particular song for this particular purpose."

All proceeds from the single will be donated so please be sure to check out The Mountain Shadow and purchase the track...
